... Office of Public Relations. This position will be part of the state-wide communications team involved in all aspects of the Delaware transportation system. It is expected that the incumbent will be assigned regional responsibilities to better serve the residents of the state. Successful candidates must have experience in public relations, media relations and communications. Skills should include experience in public speaking, narrative report writing and experience in gathering, organizing and presenting detailed information to the public or media groups. Successful candidates should also possess the ability to establish and promote a positive image with the public through the use of internal and external communications tools such as public forums, writing, marketing, advertising, or special events. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of video production, graphic design or desktop publishing programs which run under the Adobe platform.
