Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities: Front line telephone responsibility: takes orders, transfers calls, answers customer questions. Processes mailed, faxed, or phone orders: Includes reviewing, entering and allocating orders. Prepares pro-forma invoices as requested: coordinating freight, forwarding, insurance, and other miscellaneous charges with the shipping department. Communicates with sales force and shipping department regarding any order issues. Maintains all domestic/international customer files, orders and correspondence, and future shipment. Answers customer inquiries regarding order pricing and status, shipping delays, back orders and product availability. Provides order information to Planning and Production for future shipments, standing orders, custom orders or larger quantities of stock products.
