Our DON must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures; laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. Responsibilities include developing, organizing, and implementing programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, as well as financial and talent management necessary for providing quality care.
