PRIMARY PURPOSE: Supports the development of new high performance products by designing embedded microprocessor circuits, writing embedded microprocessor firmware, performing software verification, and validation tests. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Embedded digital circuit design to include concept, specification review, development schedule planning, design, firmware development, test, implementation, and long term sustaining support. Extensive firmware knowledge of embedded āCā, and assembly. Experience with a variety of in-circuit development systems supporting MSP430, 8051, HC08, Atmel, and PIC microcontrollers. Automated test stand design and development a plus. Work with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English which demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Cross-functional teams consist of mechanical, electrical, test, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, and marketing staff members. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point experience required. ...
