Responsible for managing, training and providing leadership to assigned technical staff, continuously striving to enhance services provided to West clients and internal customers; manage the day-to-day activities of assigned staff in providing efficient, timely, and properly communicated status on issues and or initiatives to internal and external customers, ensuring adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and developmental methodologies; proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of technical issues following them through to resolution; provide leadership and direction on all assigned technical projects or project tasks, ensuring follow through from beginning to end. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THESE SKILLS: Experience in technical platform support. Experience in working with clients regarding highly technical implementations and troubleshooting. Experience with Voice XML applications design/analysis desired. Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, MRCP, RTSP, RTCP, and SIP desired.
