SCHEDULING REP - MONDAY-FRIDAY 
DESCRIPTION: Responsible for scheduling all outpatient visits within Grady Health System. Process incoming calls, faxes and computer orders ensuring that all appointments are accurately scheduled in an efficient, customer-oriented manner. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS : High School Diploma or GED required. LPN or Medical Assistant preferred. Prior experience in patient access, billing, cash collections, insurance, or directly related health care environment required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. CPAR certification preferred. TWO (2) years scheduling experience preferred. Prior knowledge of outpatient clinic operations preferred. Typing and data entry skills required. Knowledge of Siemens OAS Gold/Siemens INVISION health information system, word processing and spreadsheet programs preferred. 30 wpm typing required. ...
